We designed this new 14” drum by special request.  Our 15” lodge drum is very popular for sweat lodge but women commented that it was too big and heavy.  Some men also commented that in a small lodge our 15” was a bit too big.   Our 15” is 3” deep while our new 14” is 2 5/8 deep. Doesn’t sound like much but the 14” is might lighter in weight that the 15”.   The tone of this drum is pulled specifically for the high humidity of a lodge.  It will be very rare for this drum to go flat.  Outside of the lodge this drum will be generally a little tight in tone, the big boom is planned for the lodge.  Available in Natural or Dyed Hide.  Our standard dye is walnut.  If you would like a different colour please mention it in the check-out comment section or send us an email.  Our dyed drums are water fast and will not run in the Sweat Lodge.
